Free AI virtual staging tools compared (empty-room test)
For staging an empty room for free, RoomsGPT gave the most faithful result in our test (small watermark, 1920×1408). Reimagine Home gave the largest output (2368×1776) but shifted the perspective. Spacely furnished convincingly but changed walls and covered the floor.
Based on our hands-on test on Oct 16, 2026: Empty white room (right-wall window, concrete floor, left-wall outlet), prompt "Living Room + Scandinavian". Tools change often; see full test results and warnings.

Tools we could not test
- Collov AI: Could not test: signup bug. Email verification accepts the code but never creates the account (tried twice on Oct 16, 2026).
- AiHouse: Not tested: requires Google/Facebook login.
- DecorAI: Could not test without a card: the site advertises '3 Free Designs', but Generate opens a trial that becomes $24/month (plans $24/mo, $120/6 months, $240/year). We stopped before entering a card; there was no free generation without starting a trial (Oct 16, 2026).
