AI room designers with no watermark on the free plan (tested)
Only one of the 8 tools we tested, HomeDesignsAI, gave us a free image with no watermark, but it was small (640×512) and changed the room layout a lot. Every other free output had a watermark of some kind. Note: HomeDesignsAI now requires login, and Paintit varied: watermarked in test 1, no watermark seen in our second test.
Based on our hands-on test on Oct 16, 2026: Empty white room (right-wall window, concrete floor, left-wall outlet), prompt "Living Room + Scandinavian". Tools change often; see full test results and warnings.

Tools we could not test
- Collov AI: Could not test: signup bug. Email verification accepts the code but never creates the account (tried twice on Oct 16, 2026).
- AiHouse: Not tested: requires Google/Facebook login.
- DecorAI: Could not test without a card: the site advertises '3 Free Designs', but Generate opens a trial that becomes $24/month (plans $24/mo, $120/6 months, $240/year). We stopped before entering a card; there was no free generation without starting a trial (Oct 16, 2026).
